Richland County Consolidated Draft (Modules 1 and 2)
Modules 1 and 2 of the rewritten Land Development Code are now compiled into a Consolidated Draft, which was made available for public review in March. Meetings on the draft, including a live-streamed online public presentation, occurred in May. Testing of the draft has now been completed, and the results will be presented to the Planning Commission during its meeting on October 5.
To help the team review and address comments, please specify the section or topic within the Draft Module to which your comment applies. If you have multiple unrelated comments, please submit them individually. You can submit as many comments as necessary.
Richland County’s zoning ordinance and land development regulations rewrite is in Task 4: Testing.

Members of the public are invited to review the Consolidated Draft of the Land Development Code and provide comments using the comment form on this page. An online presentation on the Consolidated Draft was live-streamed on the County’s YouTube channel on Thursday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. During the presentation, the County’s consultant provided an overview of the newly drafted material and of revisions to previously draft sections, and participants submitted questions and comments electronically.
